Catch up 7-14th Dec

Hey all,

7th just worked, cooked, watched TV (“Missing”), chatted to family and read. Friday the 8th went to work, then went to go fetch my friend & her cousin from her house –went to go get some chow, then went to go and see a CD launch by a guy that we knew-it was cool. Was so nice because our friends and colleagues were there so was nice to just chill and listen to the music together. The whole event was so beautifully done.

The sound was clear and the lighting was cool. After the launch I took my friend home and then went home myself to chill at home as it had started raining. 9th watched the extras of “The Last Samurai”.

Read “The Oracle” which I am enjoying so much even though it has a lot History and information in it. It is very well written. Went to go and see friends for a couple of hours and then went to go and see “Stormbreaker” it was a real teen movie and some of things that this guy did was utterly impossible but was loaded with action, drama.

I mean “Alex” was 14, let me say it again he was 14! It is impossible to know 4 languages excluding English, mountain climbing, scuba diving, bicycle riding, black belt in Karate and have 1st Dan- even though he was extremely intelligent, they were pushing just a little. Went home and watched “Pirates of the Caribbean 2”. Then went to sleep.

10th watched the extras of “Pirates of the Caribbean 2”. It is unbelievable what the cast, crew and producers etc. go through to get the movie as they want it. As well as having to fight the weather, time constraints, budget constraints and script constraints…They had to fins the perfect locations 2. It just seemed to me like they had a hard time doing this movie. Anyway it’s done now onto the 3rd part in the trilogy!

Then I sorted through Christmas Decorations so that I can decorate the tree on Monday the 11th. Watched “Matrix1” & “Numb3rs”.
11th worked, decorated the tree, cooked and watched “Prison Break”. I am totally enjoying this program. Loved decorating the tree –so much fun you know to just see the creative part in me.

12th worked my butt of, then went home and crashed. I was tired and the heat isn’t helping either.
13th last full day at work for this year-so you must know that it is pretty crazy around here. Went home watched “Blind Justice”, read, chatted to the family, played with my animals and then crashed.

14th well I leave at lunch time today. I will work my ass of again today, but its cool now I get to relax.

This will be the last time I write before the 10th January 2007. So Keep well, Have extremely good Christmas and a Wonderful New Year. May you be blessed, in the coming year with love, joy and peace. Will update you on everything as soon as I return on the 10th.

Keep safe & keep Cool
Regards

Catch up 21st Nov-6 Dec

Hey all,

For the first time on the 21st I had to watch students writing exam, it was a very weird feeling, you know watching not writing. Anyway it went okay but long (3 hours). 22nd went to collect my new glasses-they are so divine, I love them… 23rd Watched “Missing” and worked nothing much else.
Friday the 24th went to the Mall to start Christmas shopping with my mom –what a mission it seems everyone had the same idea we had. 25th went to work with my mom just to read, chill and enjoy the silence a bit.
Finished “Esther”. Watched “3rd Watch” on ETV. Sunday the 26th just watched “Numb3rs”, chilled at home, chatted to family, slept and read.

27th just work, work and so more work. As it nears the end of the year and also the beginning of the next year-things tend to speed of up. On the 28th went out to supper for the closing of the year 4 a course that I had been on this year. They had decorated everything so beautifully.
We had a really nice time. The 29th worked then went to the shop with a friend, then we decided to watch a movie-“Friends with Money” with Jennifer Aniston. Had supper with the my friends and then went home.

The 30th WOW the end of the month already! Just worked then went home. Then naturally comes Dec 1st worked ‘til about 2:15 PM then had to go fetch my sister as she was sick and couldn’t get home. Mom was working- didn’t know how to get there in the first place and my dad was to far anyway so was just better for me to go and get her to take her home. Later went to the Mall to do some more Christmas shopping-Wow it’s crazy at the mall at this time of year.
The 2nd watched Shania Twain’s DVD (Concert) called “Up” The my dad’s friend come to see us.

Watched “3rd Watch” –ETV and “Touching the Void” which was sort of like “Vertical Limit” without the actors obviously and “Touching …” was a true story.
The 3rd watched “Airforce 1” and “Hollywood Homicide”, chilled at home because it was very, very hot and then went to Christmas concert with our Church-was so beautiful, enjoyed it a lot except for the heat.

Then came home and watched “Numb3rs”.
4th just worked rite through ‘til I left after 4pm. Watched “Prison Break” & “3rd Watch” –Series Channel (DSTV). Then crashed. 5th Worked and worked so more and then after went to go and see my aunt to catch up. Dec 6th worked and then went home 2 watch “Blind Justice”-SABC2.

Will write more later

PS: SOME FUN STUFF FOR YOU

George Carlin's view on agingDo you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions."How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!" You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five!

That's the key.You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead."How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16!
And then the greatest day of your life . . . You become 21.
Even the words sound like a ceremony . . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out.
There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30 , then you're PUSHING 40.
W! hoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away.
Before you know it, you REACH 50And your dreams are gone. But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would! So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30 ; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90's, you start going backwards; "I Was JUST 92."Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!" May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
